What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

This is my first year as a volunteer, but I’ve been following the Iditarod since ’90, ’92. As a dog musher living and racing dogs in Australia. So, yeah, I awfully interested and I thought I’d come up and check it out.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

To handle for as many teams as I can. I love working with dogs and handling, so yeah, I’m here to handle.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences would be the dogs, obviously. The reason I come here for to start with. But the people of the Iditarod, they’ve been super nice and yeah, it’s just extremely nice and love to be with the dogs.

What in life do you know for sure?

Life is short and you need to live your life as best you can. For me, that is running with dogs.
