What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I became involved with the Iditarod about four years ago after I found out about it from a co-worker and decided to apply to volunteer. And ever since then I’ve been involved because I love it so much.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today is because I enjoy working with these sled dogs and all of the mushers.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

One of my most memorable experiences was probably seeing the finish line in Nome for the first time. It’s a really cool experience getting to see all the mushers come in. And I got to see Ryan Redington win for the first time. That was amazing.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that you need to enjoy every day to its fullest.
