What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:
I got involved with the Iditarod last year and I signed up online and showed up. They didn’t have a space for me, and somebody pointed me to Reese and Jennifer Dowling and said, “Here, she’s your problem now.” And that’s how I got involved.
What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?
I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I freaking love dogs. End of story.
Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:
One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was when I was on the trail last year. There was an aggressive moose who we instantly named Mussolini, as you do. And the rumor, this is not my story to tell, the rumor is that that is the same moose that somebody punched. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I’d like to think it is, because Mussolini was aggressive.
What do you know for sure?:
What I know for sure in life is that a Newton Law of power is that if you are behind a computer and you’re on tech support and you’re waiting for somebody to do something, your computer is going to run 10 times slower, guaranteed.
