What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I first became involved with the Iditarod when my husband and I moved here with the Air Force, and I had not received my license yet. So, I volunteered and I met some fabulously nice people and became an employee about a month after the first Iditarod that I participated in and I worked as an employee for about 10 years.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today because I have great friends in part of the Iditarod staff that were so generous and invited me to come back to run hotel sales in Anchorage this year. And I’m quite blessed.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

One of my most memorable experiences from the Iditarod… Nope, I’m not going to be able to, not without crying.

What I know about life is love is the thing that really matters.
