What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I first became involved with Iditarod when my dear friend Tracy Regan taught it at our middle school in Dawsonville, Georgia. And she would teach it and bring a musher.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with Iditarod because of Tracy Regan, and I find it fascinating and I’m hoping to learn about the culture, because I think that this is a very cultural native thing, even though you know, to run the dogs.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

This is memorable right here now. Every single second that I’m here is memorable because it’s all new to me.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that we only have ourselves and have to live in every day as precious. And that we should live and do and learn.
