Question 1: What is it about running sled dogs that you love so much?

What I love about running sled dogs is just being able to spend tons of time on trail with my best friends. They’re my family and best friends.

Question 2: What, who or how and when & why did you first get involved running the Iditarod?

 

This will be my first Iditarod. It’s been pretty much a dream ever since I started running dogs 10 years ago. It was a childhood dream to become a musher. And then yeah, once I started running dogs for Sven Haltman 10 years ago, it became a dream. Last year, I did the Yukon Quest 550. That was the longest race I did and definitely the most challenging thing I’ve done on a dog sled.

What I know for sure in life is that I love dogs.
