Question 1: What is it about running sled dogs that you love so much?

What I love about running sled dogs is the peace and serenity and the joy I find on the trail with my dogs. And it’s tons of fun and it’s something I really enjoy doing. I love being with dogs.

Question 2: What, who or how and when & why did you first get involved running the Iditarod?

I got involved running the Iditarod because it was something I always dreamed about doing since I was a kid and I finally got the chance to do it and I’m really glad I did and I don’t think I’ll ever get to do it again.

Question 3:  Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences running the Iditarod.

My most memorable experience running the Iditarod was finishing in Nome with 12 really happy dogs and I was really proud of my leader Shadow. I had her since she was a puppy and it was her first race and she ran lead from the start to the finish. I was really proud of her.

What in life do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that nothing’s really for sure. What I know for sure in life is that you can always depend on your dogs.
