What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

I’M INVOLVED IN IDITAROD BECAUSE I LOVE THE DOGS. I HAVE YET TO FIND A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT ARE AS GROUNDED AS MUSHERS. THEY’RE GREAT PEOPLE. WONDERFUL OUTLOOKS ON LIFE. I LIKE THAT. ANYBODY THAT LIKES DOGS, I LIKE THEM. AND I JUST LOVE THE DOGS.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

WELL, THAT’S KIND OF HARD BECAUSE I’M KIND OF A NEWBIE AS FAR AS GETTING TO IDITAROD. I WOULD THINK THAT LAST NIGHT MEETING IN PERSON AND SITTING DOWN WITH LANCE MACKEY WAS LIKE A HIGHLIGHT FOR ME.

What do you know for sure?:

WELL, YOU LIVE AND YOU DIE. THAT’S ABOUT WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE. HAPPINESS IS A BIG DEAL. YOU LIVE LONGER, YOU’RE HAPPIER, AND THAT I KNOW FOR SURE.
