What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

SO I HAVE SLED DOGS MYSELF. I’VE BEEN RUNNING MY OWN TEAMS NOT PROFESSIONALLY, BUT RECREATIONALLY. I LOVE SLED DOGS. I’M A VETERINARIAN AND I ALWAYS WANTED TO WORK ON THE IDITAROD AND WHEN I GOT THE OPPORTUNITY, I CAME. AND I’VE BEEN EVER SINCE.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

THERE ARE SO MANY. I GUESS ONE OF MY REALLY REWARDING ONES AS A TRAIL VETERINARIAN WAS WORKING WITH A GROUP IN NULATO WHEN JEFF KING CAME IN WITH HIS DOGS, AND WE SAVED TWO OF HIS DOGS. WHAT DID YOU SAVE THEM FROM? ONE OF THEM WAS SHOCKING QUITE BAD AND THE OTHER ONE HAD A BROKEN ARM AND WE SPLINTED IT. THAT WAS BECAUSE OF? BECAUSE OF THE SNOWMOBILER THAT RAN INTO HIS TEAM.

What do you know for sure?:

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
