What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

THIS IS THE MOST EXCITING YEAR OF LIFE HERE IN TAKOTNA. WE DO A LOT OF THINGS, BUT THIS IS THE BIGGEST. IT INVOLVES THE WHOLE COMMUNITY SO THAT’S OUR GOAL: EVERYBODY WORKING TOGETHER.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

I THINK IT WAS JUST LEARNING FROM JAN AND SEEING REALLY HOW MASSIVE IT IS AND WHAT YOU DO. YOU KNOW, I WATCHED PUDDIN’ AND JAN FROM THE BACKGROUND, BUT I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY REALLY DID. IT’S JUST MEETING EVERY MUSHER, FEEDING THEM. I THINK FILLING THE ROLE IS THE MOST EXCITING.
