Iditarod Role: I SUPPORT THE CHECKPOINT. MY WIFE IS IN COORDINATING THE CHECKPOINT NOW. I DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO KEEP THINGS GOING. I BRING THE DROPPED DOG BAGS FROM THE AIRPORT AND LOCK THEM UP IN STORAGE. AND I GO TO MCGRATH IF WE HAVE TO GET SOMETHING IN A HURRY TO GET HERE. AND I MAKE SURE THE PAPER PRODUCTS AND THE COFFEE AND ALL THAT IS FULL. AND THE PIES AND THE CAKES ARE ON THE TABLE WHERE THEY BELONG.

What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

I’M INVOLVED WITH IDITAROD BECAUSE MY WIFE AND MY DAUGHTER ENJOY THE RACE AND ARE DEEPLY INVOLVED IN IT AND I SUPPORT THEM.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

I JUST ENJOY THE WHOLE OPERATION.

What do you know for sure?:

I KNOW THAT TAKOTNA IS A GREAT PLACE TO RAISE YOUR FAMILY AND A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE.
