What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

I AM HERE BECAUSE OF MY UNCLE DOUG. I WANTED TO FOLLOW IN HIS FOOTSTEPS AND BECOME A CHECKER. AND IT FINALLY CAME THROUGH, AND I’M HERE.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

MY MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE IS WHEN MARTIN BUSER SIGNED MY DAUGHTER’S JACKET 16 YEARS AGO AND SHE IS GOING TO GRADUATE THIS YEAR.

What do you know for sure?:

I KNOW THAT FOR SURE THAT POSITIVITY IS THE BEST WAY TO GO IN LIFE. AND I WANT TO SPREAD THE POSITIVITY TO THE RURAL VILLAGES AND I WANT TO HELP ELIMINATE SUICIDE.
