What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I’ve got involved with the Iditarod through the Anchorage Police Department by working overtime and that is primarily to provide safety for the dogs along the trails.

What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because of the overtime that APD pays me. However, also the energy and the history and culture behind the Iditarod.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?

One of my most memorable experiences with the Iditarod was two years ago, working overtime with APD and enjoying speaking with the members who enjoy this experience throughout the years of their residency here in Alaska.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is there are lots of good people in the world and that want the best for the next generation, and others.
