What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod after trialing sled dog just for fun in Colorado a few years ago. And when I go back to Australia, I realized it was a very small sport there, but I went to watch and I met the vet who does it there. And basically he is the one who encouraged me to join up and experience it.

What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I love the cold climates, the winter. I try and chase the winter around the world. And obviously I love dogs. I’ve made my career out of it. So something I could do, put the two together sounded like a pretty great adventure.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is family is there no matter what, and dogs really are man’s best friend.
