What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I am involved with Iditarod because I met a lot of good dog mushers and a lot of good friends. You make a lot of good friends out here, and plus it’s just nice being around dogs. And it’s a thing that happens every year and you look forward to that. And like I said, you meet a lot of good people.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?

One of the most memorable experience with Iditarod was when – we have the bison cam out there, and a helicopter actually landed right in that bowl.

What do you know for sure?:

I’m standing here doing this interview, and it’s a beautiful day with the sky and seeing the dogs and all that; that’s what life is all about.
