What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod from friends like Rick Bruckheimer, and then my father, Mark Cox, and then a couple of other friends, Phil Graham.

What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with the Iditarod because I really love dogs. I grew up running dogs and then caring for dogs, and just, I enjoy it. And how: I guess at an early age I checked in mushers and then would run teams, but that was pretty much it.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was volunteering up in Shaktoolik, Alaska, and getting Aliy Zirkle’s signature, talking with her, meeting her dogs, and also meeting the locals in Shaktoolik. Shout out to Edgar, Don Don, and others.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is… my opinion as an adventurer, you might as well try new things, challenge yourself, and have new experiences. Yeah.
