What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod, as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We look for service opportunities, and this service opportunity came up, and I knew I had to take it, because it’s my first time seeing the Iditarod.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today, and involved with the Iditarod, because I found it as a service opportunity.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was seeing the dog sleds for the first time, because that’s something I’ve never thought I’d ever see.

What do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life, is God loves each one of his children, and he created this beautiful Earth for us, and we all get to enjoy it together.
