Stealie is a good natured, loving dog. She loves to please. She really took on the role of a leader last year. And she owns her position as leader. She is the strongest leader I’ve been around. She just loves to be out front. Sometimes we bring her back in the team, makes her a little grumpy so we put her back out front. But we just try to keep her happy and take the pressure off her, but she loves to be out front and she knows her job.
What is that litter’s “theme” name?…and other siblings’ names from that litter?
The litter theme for this litter was Grateful Dead names. Her name’s Stealie after a symbol called Steal Your Face. You can see one on my sled. And we have two dogs. Her sister’s name is Althea. So they’re both named after Grateful Dead.
What is the bloodline?
I got Stealie from a musher named Wade Mars. We’re not sure of the exact bloodlines, but they’re great dogs.
