What are his/her unique personality characteristics?
Elway is super confident, ton of personality, really boisterous kind of in your face. He loves being inside, being in the truck. He’s the only one who rode this whole trip in the cab of truck. He’s kind of the perfect sled dog. If I had 16 of him, I’d be a pretty happy camper. He’s 65 pounds, never gets injured, eats everything, and just mega, mega, happy, is the biggest thing about him. He’s always, always in a good spirit, always head up and yeah, just all around a great dog.
What is that litter’s “theme” name?…and other siblings’ names from that litter?
Elway is part of the Bronco’s Greats litter, Denver Broncos, that is, so his litter mates are Sharp, Terrell, Von, Champ. They are all really, really good sled dogs, but yeah, anyone who’s a football fan, probably you’re recognizing most of those names, basically all Denver Hall of Famers or future hall of Famers.
What is the bloodline?
Elway is out of stuff primarily. His father’s from Matt Hall’s kennel. He was bred by Matt Hayashida. So it’d be old Buser and Swingley lines primarily. And his mom was a Yuksi pup from Jeff King. So she’s kind of a combination of Jeff King lines and old Buser lines.
