What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with the Iditarod because 10 years ago, I got my first husky and I got involved with a team and I started volunteering at races in Maine and New Hampshire. And my dream was always to get to the Iditarod, and here I am for the 50th year.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because of my love for dogs and the passion that they have and the mushers have.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was my first time being at the start. It was a perfect day. It was snowing like crazy. And just to see the whole town, people lined up and all excited, it was just so much fun to watch.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is… Actually, I’m not sure of anything. The only thing I am sure of right now is that I’m coming back to volunteer at the Iditarod.
