What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with Iditarod by a guy saying he needed a helping hand. So I gave my hand out and gave him a hand, helping him out wherever he needed, whether it be hauling stuff or building stuff.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with Iditarod because it’s always been around, ever since I was a kid. And it’s nice to see it still going.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was when I was a little kid, I’d say about five or six years old, running down and getting Iditarod autographs and filling up my whole book before every other student in class.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that life always moves on. No matter what happens, good or bad, things will always turn out for the better.
