What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with Iditarod in 2011 when I got a job working for a musher in Two Rivers, Sunny Lindner, that ran Iditarod. Yeah, I helped him train up his dogs and listened to all of his stories from long ago and recent years and just knew it was something I had to do in the future.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

So I’m here today involved with Iditarod because it’s my rookie race, and I’m super excited.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences, I guess, to date is the rookie meeting back in December. Just I was grateful that they had the meeting in December because I learned a lot and it gave me time to use all the information.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that nothing is constant. Things are always evolving, and for the most part, I feel like I’m always in the right place at the right time.
