What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod at a dinner party last week, drinking friends’ homemade gin. They said they needed help on the Iditarod and I said, “Yes.”

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with the Iditarod because I had too many homemade martinis and volunteered, but regardless, I’m super glad to be here. And it’s an exciting opportunity to participate in the world’s greatest race.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences is watching from afar, all these years, and thinking, “One day I’ll be out there.”

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is you don’t know what you don’t know.
