What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with Iditarod as a dog handler in 2017.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I, myself, am a musher. And I love sled dogs. I love Huskies. I love their athleticism. So I just love to watch them do what they love to do.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was my first year handling. I got assigned to Kristy Berington, and we were talking dogs. And she actually invited me over to her kennel to run dogs with her. So that was really cool. I actually never did it. I wish I had. Hopefully, maybe in the future, I will. But I’d say that was definitely a really cool invitation to have.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that you just got to go with the flow because you never know when things are going to change.
