What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved in Iditarod when Sister Reedal, someone part of our congregation at church, said that there is a service opportunity to help out with Iditarod, and I’m so excited to help out.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved in Iditarod because I love helping people. I love seeing the dogs and all the things that go into just helping people and all the logistics.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

My most memorable Iditarod experience was seeing all of the logistics that went into Iditarod. I had no idea how much food or supplies that each of the racers needed and how they’re dropped off at certain areas. I thought that was amazing.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that God answers our prayers. He’s always there for us and he’s going to guide us each and every day and every step of the way.
