What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:
I CAME HERE BECAUSE I LIKE TO SEE THE MUSHERS COME THROUGH, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NOT THAT MANY OF THEM LEFT THAT I REMEMBER. AND MY DAD HOWARD LINCOLN WAS A CHECKER FOR A 25 YEARS HERE.
Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:
WELL, WHEN THE FIRST MUSHER CAME IN, DICK WILMARTH, YEARS AND YEARS AGO – I THINK IT WAS IN ’73 – THAT WAS SUCH A SIGHT TO SEE. AND ANOTHER MEMORABLE THING WAS, I BELONGED TO A DANCE GROUP CALLED THE NOME FEARLESS FRONT STREET FOLLIES. AND WE WOULD PERFORM, OF COURSE, FOR THE IDITAROD MUSHERS.
What do you know for sure?:
WELL, I KNOW THAT WE SHOULD BE KIND TO EACH OTHER, HELP EACH OTHER WHEN WE CAN AND SHARE YOUR BOUNTY.
