What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with Iditarod because we had followed it and found Iditarod subscriber, that you were able to volunteer, and I signed up because I love the race.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because my first experience in 2020 was amazing and I loved working in coms, loved the people, loved the villages, and I think I’m hooked until I can’t walk anymore.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was getting to take a selfie with Jesse Holmes. I’ve followed him on Life Below Zero and I’ve always wanted to meet him and got lucky. And I get a picture with him every year.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that God is my savior and I want to do whatever I can to spread the love that I feel from him. So being able to be with the Iditarod and meet the people from all the walks of life, I just enjoy sharing and loving them and they love you back.
