What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with Iditarod a few years ago. I just wanted to try it out for fun. I got asked to do some jobs, like running dogs and I loved it and it was a blast. And yeah, it was just a ton of fun.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod, because I enjoy it so much. I love seeing the dogs come around the corner and come down the river, yeah. I don’t know. It is just a super fun experience. It’s also really fun at night, when the dogs come and you can see the headlamps from way down the river and yeah, just helping out with people. Meeting people, yeah, it’s a lot of fun.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of the most memorable Iditarod experience was running dogs in the night. It was a few years ago, but it was just a really surreal feeling. You’re really tired and you see the headlamp and you know it’s the dog team and you get really excited. And I was really young and I just loved it, running around and having a good time.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life, is that I will keep trying to get to the Iditarod and keep trying to help out as much as I can and if I can.
