What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:
TO MEET ALIY WHEN SHE COMES ACROSS THE FINISH LINE. WHY DID YOU STAY INVOLVED WITH IDITAROD? GOSH, THAT’S DEEP. I GUESS I’VE ALWAYS BEEN IN LOVE WITH DOG MUSHING AND SO THAT’S REALLY WHY I’M HERE. IT’S THE SUPER BOWL OF DOG MUSHING
Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:
THAT WOULD PROBABLY BE THIS IDITAROD. AT THE CEREMONIAL START I WAS THE ONE TO MEET ALIY AT THE CAMPBELL AIRSTRIP. AND HER LEAD DOGS PICKED ME OUT OF THE CROWD OF PEOPLE AND RAN STRAIGHT AT ME. AND ALL I HAD TO DO WAS TURN AND RUN TO THE TRUCK. THEY FOLLOWED ME RIGHT IN.
What do you know for sure?:
I KNOW IN MY LIFE I’LL PROBABLY BE THE ONE THAT PEOPLE ARE WAITING ON, IN THE DOG YARD, SITTING IN A DOG KENNEL IN A COUPLE YEARS.
