What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?
I got involved with Iditarod, I was requested by Greg Heister five years ago to see if I could support the Iditarod Insiders down the trail.
What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?
I’m here today and involved with the Iditarod because of the opportunity to support the Iditarod and support the Iditarod Insiders. And I grew up in Alaska and I’ve always watched the Iditarod, so I was happy to be a part of it. And it’s my business, air tax business, so it seemed to fit pretty well.
Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.
One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was just watching the mushers come into the checkpoints and seeing that they don’t waste any motion when they come in. Everything’s like a movement with effort to maximize their time and take care of their dogs in an efficient manner and get rested and get ready to go again
