What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?
I got involved with the Iditarod because a colleague of mine, another vet who works for the Australian government, came and she suggested I give it a go and I volunteered and was chosen.
What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?
I’m here today and involved with the Iditarod because, well, it’s such a fantastic adventure, especially for Australians. I think it’s hard to believe there is a country like this in the world, and it’s an absolutely fantastic experience being here.
Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?
So the most memorable Iditarod experience for me was seeing the Northern Lights two years ago at Shaktoolik. You’ve got to come back. Once you’ve seen them once, you’ve got to come back again and try and see them again and again.
What do you know for sure?:
o pay taxes and you’re going to die.
