What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod since I was born, since the very first year that I was able to be out here. I’ve been with my family and close friends.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today, involved with the Iditarod because they have become a close family and friends today, that I’ve known for my whole life. And they make today some of the most greatest times I’ve ever experienced and they are my reason to come out here again.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was being out at the very first checkpoint with all of my family and them being just the most quirkiest, greatest, most memorable people I’ve ever been able to experience, so fun. They make the Iditarod a very special place. The Yentna Station checkpoint, it’s pretty amazing.

What do you know for sure?

What I know for sure is that the Iditarod checkpoint, Yentna Station is probably going to be one of the most best parts of my entire year ever, because of how just great the people are and how family and how they’ll never not be close. They’ll always make it comfortable. Iditarod is a very special occasion and they make sure to make you feel like that.
