What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I got involved with Iditarod because after years of working with sled dogs, it seemed like the only obvious thing left to do, and that’s why I’m running the race this year.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because what better way to see the entire state of Alaska than on the back of a dog sled? And that’s why I wanted to run the race, is there’s no other better way to travel a trail than with a dog team.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

My most memorable Iditarod experience so far, I’ll make some more this year, my first year running the race, but helping Matthew get to the start line for the last number of years and helping prep his team and seeing those dogs finish is a pretty rewarding experience.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is you keep going, and that’s about it.
