What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:
TRUTHFULLY, MY WIFE BROUGHT ME HERE. IT WAS PART OF WHAT BROUGHT US TO ALASKA. AND SHE WANTED TO BE AS INVOLVED AS SHE COULD BE IN THE RACE. AND I AGREED TO COME ALONG AND FOUND THE LOVE FOR IT MYSELF.
Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:
WELL, IT’S A PLACE THAT’S VERY RICH IN EXPERIENCES. I THINK A LOT OF US REMEMBER “FIRSTS”. SO FOR ME, I GO BACK FOUR YEARS AGO; MY FIRST CHECKPOINT AT RAINY PASS SEEING THOSE TEAMS COME IN AND IT WAS PRETTY MAGICAL. I’M A BIG DOG LOVER, AND SO … AND THE SETTING IS PRETTY SPECIAL.
What do you know for sure?:
NONE OF US ARE GUARANTEED TOMORROW, AND SO YOU LIVE FOR THE MOMENT; TAKE IT ALL IN. AND IDITAROD IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THAT.
