What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became interested in the Iditarod back in grade school when they were teaching us all about it. But it’s only been about 10 years since I’ve been an adult that I’ve wanted to. I just come down and look at the events and see what’s going on.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today just to expose my kids to the Iditarod and get them to see the dogs and the mushers as they come by.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was about five years ago, we got to go down to the garage rooftop party and witness all this stuff that was involved with that.

What do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that nothing’s certain, and you just take each day, day by day and enjoy it the best you can.
