What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:
I’M HERE TODAY BECAUSE IDITAROD IS AN AMAZING RACE AND IT’S A GREAT WAY TO USE THE RACE WITH STUDENTS TO HELP THEM LEARN WHAT THEY NEED TO LEARN IN SCHOOL.
Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:
ANY TIME YOU ASK ME THAT QUESTION IT WOULD BE PROBABLY SOMETHING DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON THE DAY YOU ASK IT. BUT, I GUESS, TODAY, I HAVE TO SAY THE MOMENT WE WERE WATCHING JESSIE COME IN THIS MORNING JUST BECAUSE SNOW WAS COMING DOWN AND IT WAS REALLY BRISK AND EXCITING AND SO MUCH FUN TO BE HERE IN THE MOMENT.
What do you know for sure?:
WHAT DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE? I KNOW THAT I’M PRETTY LUCKY AND THAT I HAVE A HUGE, BIG FAMILY BACK HOME THAT LOVES ME, AND THEY GET EXCITED ABOUT WHAT I’M DOING HERE IN ALASKA.
