What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I got involved with the Iditarod because I think that the way that it started as just such a cool story and I love dogs and the idea of dog sledding and stuff has always fascinated me. So I figured I could come down and work and involve myself in the community and see what it’s all about.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my only, but most memorable, Iditarod experiences was getting to go out on my first time on a dog sled and take one of the Iditarod teams out on one of their training runs. It was so cool. It was quiet and beautiful and so much fun, and the dogs were really cut. And it just made me want to keep coming around and getting involved.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that it’s unpredictable, so you have to make the best of your time and have fun and live every day the best you can.
