What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?
I got involved with Iditarod when I started following Blair Braverman and Quince Mountain on Twitter in 2018. And in 2019 I followed the Iditarod very, very closely and I saw how much fun people had when they came to the start, and it’s really cool
What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?
I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I followed it closely last year and saw how much fun it was as a fan to come to Anchorage for the start. It’s a really unique and special experience that’s brought me to Alaska for only the second time in my life and I’m having a great time. Can’t wait to come again.
Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?
One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was, yesterday I went to Nick Petit’s kennel for some sled rides, and I got to harness a couple of his dogs, including Christie, one of his leaders. So I’m really going to be cheering them on extra hard this year.
What do you know for sure?:
What I know for sure in life is I’m braver and tougher than I think I am. I’ve learned this many times in the last few years, whether it’s doing something new or just dealing with stuff that’s hard.
