What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I got involved with Iditarod after handling for my partner last year, Anna Hennessy, who ran Iditarod. In the middle of last season, we decided to have me attempt it as well, so finished my qualifiers and signed up for this year.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I like long-form adventure. I love dogs. I love the cold, and so Iditarod checks all three of those boxes. I don’t mind racing, but I’m mostly here for the adventure, and we’ll see how it goes, I guess.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences, I don’t have one yet because I’m a rookie.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is nothing. I like living moment by moment. That’s what living is, right?
