Gregg Vitello:
What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?
So this will be our first Iditarod, and we’re looking forward to it. Second race in Alaska.
What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?
The why is, well, it was love of the dogs and it was a goal. It was a goal to come do this. And I jokingly say to everybody that I had to breed to get here, and I’m not just talking about dogs. So Bailey’s doing a great job managing the kennel these days.
Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences:
Most memorable Iditarod experience, I’ll let you know. I don’t know yet.
What in life do you know for sure?
Well, I know for sure that staying positive is a big part of having a good time out here in the race. And I plan to stay positive, at least try to, the whole time.
Bailey Vitello:
What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?
I got involved with Iditarod, really dreamed planted in 2012 for Junior Iditarod.
What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?
I’m here because of a dream. I’m following a dream and wanted to see what a thousand miles looks like in places I’ve never been.
