What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?
I got involved with the Iditarod because as a kid I lived in Fairbanks, Alaska and we would see the sled dogs go through and stuff, and just got to a point in my life where I was able to volunteer and thought it’d be a great experience and love the dogs and love to help out.
What is your Why?..Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?
I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I love the outdoors, I love the adventure, I love dogs and I love helping people.
Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences?
One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences so far was the flight from McGrath to Ruby. Just coming over the mountain range and just the wide, vast of wilderness. It’s really cool to see that there’s still that much untouched land in America.
What do you know for sure?:
What I know for sure in life is that nothing is for sure.
