Question 1: What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod:
I first became involved with Iditarod this year, as I’m running in my rookie Iditarod and I’m very excited to be heading down the trail to Nome.
Question 2: What is your Why? Why were you so involved with the Iditarod?
I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I love traveling in new environments on the land with my team of sled dogs, and traveling down the Iditarod is the perfect way to do that.
Question 3: Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.
As a rookie, one of my most memorable Iditarod experiences has been working through all of the steps this winter with my family to get here to the starting line and all of the support and encouragement that’s been behind me to make it here today.
What in life do you know for sure?:
What I know for sure in life is that it’s important to keep trying and to have passion behind the things that you do in life. And that goes for all aspects of life, whether it’s dog mushing, whether it’s being time with your family, that putting passion behind what you do and enjoying the little things along the way.
