What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I got involved with Iditarod three years ago. I’ve been visiting Alaska for the last 10 years and put this on my bucket list, so I’m very pleased to have checked it off.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with the Iditarod because I have found volunteering to be very rewarding and I’ve met some terrific people.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was my very first year when I was kind of up front and close to the dogs and mushers at the restart in Willow.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know in life for sure is that live every day to its fullest. Enjoy yourself and make the most of it. You only get one chance.
