What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

BECAUSE I THINK THAT AS FAR AS SPORTS GO, IT’S UNIQUE. IT’S UNIQUE IN THAT IT TRAVELS A STATE THAT’S VIRTUALLY ROADLESS. IT TRAVELS FROM THE ROAD SYSTEM AND GOES WEST AWAY FROM THE ROAD SYSTEM AND TIES TOGETHER THE COMMUNITIES THAT ARE SCATTERED AROUND THE STATE.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

PROBABLY IT WOULD BE SNOW MACHINING FROM WILLOW TO UNALAKLEET. I WAS A GUIDE FOR THE INSIDER CREW. AND JUST BEING ABLE TO TRAVEL WITH THE TEAMS AND KIND OF BE INVOLVED WITH THE THINGS THAT THEY SEE FROM THE TRAIL; SEEING THE TRAIL THAT THEY’RE TRAVELING; SEEING WHAT THEY GO THROUGH. JUST BEING ABLE TO BE WITH THEM IN A PLACE THAT’S NOT A CHECKPOINT WAS PRETTY COOL.

What do you know for sure?:

I HOPE THAT I KNOW THAT I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING.
