What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod last year when my manager asked me if I wanted to go out and be the satellite engineer.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I’m here today and involved with the Iditarod because I had so much fun last year that I wanted to do it again this year. And almost didn’t make it this year due to management decisions, but they changed their mind at the last minute.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable experiences at the Iditarod was flying back and forth to Nikolai last year, once with a dog sled in the plane with us, and another time with a dog that I hugged the entire time, because he was so scared.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that life is an adventure and you go wherever life takes you.
