What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?
I first became involved with the Iditarod in 2014. I was a volunteer in the education department, and saw the IditaRider program and decided that was where my passion would be.
What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?
I’m here today and involved with Iditarod because I believe in the power in the relationship between the sled dogs and the mushers. I started running my own dogs. Well, not my own dogs, but I started running dogs a few years ago and have helped train some of the dogs that have run in the Iditarod.
Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

What do you know for sure?
What I know for sure in life is that the relationship between the dogs and the mushers and the amazing athletes that they are is something that we need to preserve in our history in the state of Alaska.
