What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?:

I got involved with the Iditarod because I have a passion for animals and their well-being, and I love the sport and the drive that the dogs have. And I got involved through a fellow college friend who was doing this previously and introduced me to this awesome opportunity.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I just love watching how much the dogs have the drive and the passion of the sport, as well as the mushers, and just seeing the bond they all have together.

Tell me about your most memorable Iditarod experiences?:

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was when Jessie Holmes’s dog ran into me and I face planted on the ice.

What do you know for sure?:

What I know for sure in life is that you should try and live every day like it’s your last, and enjoy every moment and take these risks, even if they’re a little bit scary sometimes to travel across the world and do something new for once.
