What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:
THE FIRST TIME I CAME TO ALASKA, I WENT TO MITCH SEAVEY’S KENNEL IN SEWARD AND BECAME FASCINATED WITH THE DOGS EVEN RIDING ON THE BACK OF A WHEELED CART. AND I WANTED TO DO IT AGAIN, SO I CAME BACK IN THE WINTERTIME AND WENT TO JEFF DEETER’S HOUSE AND HAD A TOTAL IMMERSION EXPERIENCE. I GOT TO BE ON THE BACK OF A SLED. AND I SAID, “I HAVE TO DO THIS AGAIN AND I HAVE TO BE INVOLVED.”
Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:
MY MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCE WAS MEETING THE DOG KELLY THAT I’M SPONSORING THIS YEAR FOR JEFF AND GETTING TO JUST LOVE ON HER FOR ABOUT AN HOUR IN NIKOLAI. IT WAS FANTASTIC.
What do you know for sure?:
YOU BETTER LIVE REALLY WELL TODAY BECAUSE TOMORROW’S NOT GUARANTEED.
