What, who or how and when did you first get involved with the Iditarod?

I first became involved with the Iditarod in 2018. I was reporting for KTVA Channel 11 news.

What is your Why? Why are you here TODAY and involved with the Iditarod?

I am here today and involved with the Iditarod because I am an Iditarod Insider and helping to bring some of the stories from the trail to all of the fans at home and help share this experience that we get to have on the trail with them.

Tell me about just one of your most memorable Iditarod experiences.

One of my most memorable Iditarod experiences was meeting my husband. We met on the Iditarod in 2018. I was reporting for KTVA and he was in the race, and we met before and on the trail. And after the race, he found me and asked me out. And now we’re married. He had his best finish ever that year so I like to take credit for that.

What in life do you know for sure?

What I know for sure in life is that it can be really unpredictable.
