What is your Why?.. Why are you here today and involved in Iditarod?:

BECAUSE I LOVE SLED DOGS. I HAVE SINCE I WAS 7 YEARS OLD. AND I JUST WANT TO DO WHAT’S BEST FOR THEM. SO I KEEP COMING BACK FOR THEM EVERY YEAR.

Tell me about your most rewarding experience on Iditarod?:

REWARDING, I THINK WORKING IN UNALAKLEET WITH THE DOGS; GETTING THEM HOME SAFE. ESPECIALLY IN A REALLY BAD YEAR OF WEATHER. AND JUST MAKING SURE WE GOT THEM ALL ON A FLIGHT. AND THEN THE SECOND WE LOADED THE LAST DOG BOX, 5 OF US ALL RAN TO GET ON OUR COMMERCIAL FLIGHT THAT THEY WERE HOLDING FOR US TO GET TO SO WE COULD ALL GET HOME IN TIME.

What do you know for sure?:

I KNOW SLED DOGS ARE THE MOST INCREDIBLE ATHLETES OUT THERE.
